(City of Anderson COVID-19 Micro-Enterprise and Small Business Loan Fund)
The City of Anderson Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) is an economic development activity funded with the City’s CDBG-CV funding received as part of the CARES Act. The Emergency Assistance Fund targets Anderson Microenterprise businesses with five (5) employees or less (including owners of the business) and Small Businesses – businesses with up to 25 FTEs (including the owner of the business) that have not received the SBA EIDL funding prior to this application and addresses disparities in minority lending and business ownership in Anderson. The assistance provided as a forgivable loan will be given up to $10,000.
Positioned in the heart of Midwest U.S.A., Anderson is located on the I-69 corridor, in Central Indiana, just north of the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Anderson benefits from a strategic interstate and highway access system. Twenty miles south is the I-465 freeway hub, connecting interstates in seven directions, including I-65, I-70, and I-74.
