AAMP training slots are paid positions: $15 per hour ($13 per hour with an additional $2 per hour paid at graduation)
AAMP is a State of Indiana INTraining approved, SEAL accredited job training program that prepares individuals to fill vacant positions with our area’s advanced manufacturers
AAMP works in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue Polytechnic, the Center for Employee Development (C4ED), Vincennes University and local employers to prepare Anderson residents for employment
The four-week, 160-hour intensive program includes hands-on training in LEAN manufacturing techniques, basic operation of tools used by area advanced manufacturers, fork lift operation OSHA 10 safety and other skills required by employers in the area
AAMP will utilize the same applicant selection, training and participation criteria as AAMP participating companies
Each student has private interviews with the HR teams of the participating employers at the end of the training program for prospective employment
