With Indianapolis being a 30 to 50 minutes drive from Anderson, additional recreational opportunities exist. The most famous sporting activities include the Indianapolis Colts (NFL), Indiana Pacers (NBA), the Indianapolis Indians (Minor League Baseball).

And of course there is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway which is home to the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400, and the Red Bull Indianapolis GP.

There are many cultural activities to attend such as museums, theater, symphony, etc. The Indianapolis Metro Area is also home to many global companies; ethnic restaurants and international grocery stores are only a 20 to 30 minute drive from Anderson.
