Workforce Data

The City of Anderson draws workers from not only within the City of Anderson or Madison County but also anywhere within approximately 45-minute drive of Anderson.  This includes most of Indianapolis, the largest city and the capital of Indiana.  Anderson's large labor shed is due to its location on I-69, allowing people to drive further from their home with the same amount of time.  Many people enjoy commuting to Anderson from the Metro-Indy communities such as Fishers, Noblesville and Greenfield where they can drive against the heavy traffic, making their everyday commute faster and easier.
