NTN North America, Inc. Seals 80-acre Manufacturing Site

This July, the City of Anderson proudly welcomed NTN North America Inc. as it joined the growing number of recent international manufacturers that now call Anderson home. This afternoon NTN closed on its newest manufacturing site, an 80-acre property west of Nestle and Layton Road. Construction is expected to begin early October, with an official groundbreaking in early November. NTN North America, Inc., a subsidiary of NTN Corporation, a Japan-based multinational corporation. NTN Corporation is a multi-billion dollar company based in Japan with over 23,000 employees located throughout the world including a manufacturing facility in Columbus, Indiana. NTN North America, Inc. will invest $128,000,000 in Anderson and create 400 jobs in a 325,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Since its founding in 1918 in Japan, NTN has established itself firmly as one of the world’s leading general manufacturers of bearings and constant velocity joints (CVJ’s). NTN has 68 production facilities worldwide, including NTN Driveshaft located in Columbus, Indiana, where they produce CVJ’s that are primarily used in front-wheel, four-wheel, and all-wheel drive cars and trucks.
